Everything was excellent, including caring staff on the reception desk. The restaurant was magnificent for dinner, I tried delicious dishes. The location was marvellous, not too far from War Memorial. It was located in a quiet...

Location. Tunbridge Wells hotels were fully booked the weekend I wanted to visit. This hotel is only a 15 minute drive away near Pembury.
The staff were utterly unqualified for such a prestigious chain hotel. Rude receptionist, slow and incompetent breakfast assistants, invisible management and everyone looking and communicating like work experience students. Expensive as you might expect of a Ramada or Marriot but lacking in every ounce of quality you get for your money elsewhere. Poorly cooked food, basic rooms, terrible customer service, satisfactory pool, nondescript grounds, understocked bar, shabby decor in public areas, limited range of audio/visual channels etc. There was nowhere to facilitate the storage of a bike and no interest on the part of the receptionist to attempt to solve the predicament. The hotel seemed far more interested in a wedding booking than their premium rate paying guests. Abysmal.

The pool area including jaquzzi, sauna and steam room was really good, better than many other hotels I have stayed in that had more stars.
The location is not great, a bit out of the way with but a good base to go out to places from. I would say though that food and drink are very expensive. We didnt eat at the hotel because of this and even the bar was expensive.

IT was ideally situated for our needs. The staff were all most helpful and worked very hard, under difficult circumstances, to ensure that the needs of the guests were attended to. I felt very sorry that...

The location offers a peaceful atmosphere with well-maintained gardens that's perfect for a stroll after a long day. The room itself had a generous size, and the availability of a fan helped in the warm weather....

The room was okay, comfy beds and clean enough. Had a bit of a musty smell at first. Could definitely use some updates, especially the decor. The bathroom had some issues, like bad water drainage. It was decent for a night or two if you're not too picky.

Good Experience with Really good Service!
Our family spent a night here, enjoying a spacious Classic Family Room. The staff were friendly, especially our waiter were very good. The breakfast was good, but I wish the evening meal had more flavor. Don't miss the really good breakfast options!

Business travelers, beware.
Had a decent night's sleep, bed was surprisingly comfy and the coffee machine in the room? Nice touch, I could get used to that. Plus, the staff were really cute and went outta their way to help me when I checked in....
